Lightning Talks at FOSS Backstage are short, five-minute presentations where you talk us through your short ideas, pitches, use cases or philosophical musings about community, management and compliance in free and open-source software.
The Lightning Talk session will take place on the first day of the conference, 16 March at 17:20 CET at the Stage Auditorium.
On the first day of FOSS Backstage, we will open have opened a form for submitting lightning talks: title, abstract, speaker information & fun fact about the speaker for the introduction. You can submit slides, but you don’t have to.
This will remain open until the end of the lunch break, then our Lightning Talk team will meet and select up to six. The speakers will then be notified and will have another chance to submit slides (pdf only).
Powen Shiah will be your Lightning Talk host. Each slot is 5 minutes long, and there will be a timer.
If you haven’t already done so, get your FOSS Backstage ticket and join us for two days of enlightening talks!
